Sunray Oven Ignitors
Sunray, a US-based appliance manufacturer, is no longer in existence. The brand was owned by Amana, which was
owned by Maytag, which was in turn bought by Whirlpool in 2006.
Sunray stoves may still be found in antique or
vintage appliance stores, and parts may be purchased through vendors online or in brick and mortar stores. A
number of businesses across the United States offer stove reconditioning and parts rebuilding for fans of
old-fashioned appliances. Some offer, for a fee, a value assessment service so owners may determine how much
their vintage stove is worth in the marketplace. They're usually required to send in information about the
model name and number as well as photographs of their old stoves. Some reconditioning businesses will also buy
old appliances for resale.
Sunray Warranty And Replacement Parts
As Sunray is no longer in existence, the only warranties available are on replacement parts when provided by their
manufacturers. Parts may be found through clearinghouses and delivered to the consumer's home through online
vendors as well as parts stores. Parts sold won't be Sunray brand but, rather, a generic one. To ensure you
obtain the correct part, provide the parts seller with your appliance model number.
The Sunray brand has been owned by Whirlpool since 2006. The brand
has been discontinued and isn't likely to be serviced by its new owner. Below is the contact information for
Whirlpool.
