Bryant Furnace Ignitors
Bryant has over 30 distributors and more than 4,000 local product dealers. Bryant offers a wide variety of
residential and commercial HVAC products, including air conditioners, gas and oil furnaces, controls, heat pumps,
and indoor air quality products. Bryant and its dealers and distributors are active in community programs,
including Habitat for Humanity and local youth sports sponsorships.
Product Lines
Bryant's current line of furnace ignitors use silicon nitride ignitors. The 332505-751 Ignitor Kit will convert
silicon carbide ignitors to silicon nitride. Typically, newer furnances use the LH33ZG001 Hot Surface Ignitor, a
nitride ignitor that has a terminal block style letter "A." Bryant furnaces need not always use Bryant
ignitors; for example, the Uni-Line model 41-409 will fit most Bryant furnaces. Bryant's line of gas furnaces
in the "Evolutioa", "Legacy" and "Preferred" product series include PerfectLight, a pilot-free ignitor
that uses a hot surface to save gas and which the company says offers improved reliability compared to
pilot-light ignitors.
Bryant's History
Bryant Heating and Cooling Systems was founded in 1904 by Charles Lester Bryant in Cleveland, Ohio. The
company's original name was the Natural Gas Regulator Co., though this was changed in 1908 to The Bryant Heater
and Manufacturing Co.
Bryant's Warranty
Bryant's warranty varies based on specific product models, serial numbers and dates of sale. Furnaces, including
ignitors and other parts, are typically covered by a standard five-year parts limited warranty. Labor is not
included in this warranty, and the coverage is specific to parts that fail. Bryant also sells optional extended
warranties on parts and/or labor of up to 10 years. Please refer to your warranty certificate for details, or
contact your dealer.
